Then I Had an Epiphany...

One day, I decided to make a change.

Instead of letting social media tell me what to do, I decided to take a deep breath, be honest with not only who I was, but who I wanted to become. I would show up 100% authentically as myself and have fun with it.

Rather than try to be what I thought other people wanted me to be, I focused on being myself, in all my beautiful, messy glory.

I had been divorced and hid it, I had gained 30 pounds, and yet my social media feed looked perfect. You would have never known. But you know what? Living that life - that LIE - is exhausting!

Others deserved more from me. I deserved more from me. So I decided to start being honest, being real, and that’s when everything changed.

I no longer looked perfect. I looked real. I looked relatable. And that’s when I started to connect with people on a deeper level through social media. Remember, imperfection IS perfection!

Now, I create my strategy based on connecting with the people I want to connect with. I’m not worried about being everything to everyone - I’m focused on being me, and letting the right people come my way… and guess what? They do!
