First, watch Rachel's example and get familiar with what she does. For this reel you will submit one 8 second video. In this video, you can copy Rachel exactly by picking up something and walking past the camera screen. OR you can pretend you're texting on your phone while sitting in a chair or at your desk. Have FUN with it!
Make sure to use good lighting. Position yourself in front of a window (facing the light) or use a ring light.
Practice, practice, practice! There are no "do-overs" for Weekly Reels. Make sure you are happy with your raw footage before submitting your Edit My Reel Form, found in your Raw Footage folder.
What's Next?
You recorded your raw video footage. Next you'll...
- Fill out the Google Form HERE. This is the ONLY way we know you have footage to submit and gives us your contact information to deliver your edited reel.
- We will get to work on editing your reel. We will deliver your completed reel with caption, hashtags and instructions of how to post to Instagram with trending audio!
- Post your completed reel (following the provided instructions) and boom! Sit back and watch your reel take off!
When your reel is edited, you will get an email that it is ready for you to post! It takes us about a week, so it will be ready the Monday after next. The email will give you the reel, caption, hashtags and trending audio link - everything you need!
How Does Our Weekly Reel System Work?
- Every Monday morning you’ll get an email directing you to www.GSLReels.com where you’ll find the weekly reel example, instructions for shooting the video and any scripts.
- You will have until Saturday (5 days later) to film your raw footage, upload it into your Raw Footage folder, and claim your spot on the Edit My Reel form.
- Your custom personalized reel will be sent the following Monday (9 days later). You will get an email with a link to your Completed Reel folder that has your edited reel, caption, trending audio and hashtags… everything you need to post your new custom personalized reel!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Have you completed your Onboarding Video? You must watch the MCS Onboarding video before recreating your first reel.
